Former Miss India SINDHURA GADDE is all set to make her debut in Tollywood with Sangamam. And the pretty lady is all excited about the project. The film, directed by RASOOL ELLORE and produced by P RAMANA and GAVARA PARTHASARATHY, will thus witness yet another beauty queen making her foray into Tollywood. MURALI MOHAN, who was the chief guest at the audio release function, said, “I wish Sindhura success in all her endeavours. No, its not self-help books or workshops! Actress SUHANI is gaining confidence, thanks to her director B JAYA. “Working with my director has helped me in myriad ways. Not just the acting tips and comfortlevel, B Jaya also helped me in boosting up of my confidence,” says Suhani. She is working with Jaya for her upcoming venture Sawal, where she’s playing the lead opposite Bharath. “Though I started off my career as a child artiste, I didn’t know which offers to pick. I lost out on many good opportunities because of lack of guidance. Now, Jaya is not just my director but she is also a friend and a mentor,” she adds

Guess what’s made actress PRIYAMANI’s blood run cold. It was her recent trip to Kyrgystan. She was there to shoot some portions of her film Nava Vasantham in which she is playing the lead opposite TARUN and the actress has some chilly anecdotes to share, literally. “It was really cold there, with temperature dropping as low as minus three. It was as if we’re in an icebox. And I was supposed to shoot a dance sequence there. Those eight days were really tough and unforgettable,” she says. Guess the trip knocked Priyamani out cold!

Successful filmmaker Sekhar Kammula is gripped with the sentiment of Kamalinee Mukherjee. The actress made her debut as heroine with Sekhar’s film Anand. She got rave reviews for her acting. Telugu movie Vaana - the latest production of MS Raju with his banner Sumanth Arts in association with SPR Entertainments has finished of its shoot by 70%. Starring Tamil face Vinay as hero, it is directed by MS Raju himself. The audio is hitting the music stands on December 14 th, while screen hit is reserved for Sankranti (Jan 14th)

Dancer turned actress KAUSHA, who shot to fame with a controversial lip lock in the HARANATH POLICHARLA starrer Alex, seems to have come out of the whole episode unfazed. She drew lot flak from all quarters for her bold kissing scene but Kausha seems unperturbed about the whole issue and feels it was blown out of proportion. “Its unfortunate that people jump to conclusions about your character from what you do on screen. But that’s just a part of my job and I am not sorry about anything. If convinced about it I would not hesitate in doing another kissing scene anytime,” says Kausha. Tollywood Producer Lagadapati Sridhar is now a worried lot. His latest flick Viyyalavari Kayyalu, starring Uday Kiran, Srihari and Neha Julka in the lead role, generated a dampened talk, inspite of the best efforts on the part of Larsco Entertainments by way of hi-fi publicity in the print and electronic media. His contention goes thus: I have taken an excellent family entertainer. If the audiences don’t see this, they are surely missing a great message and entertainment. Moreover, Sridhar is said to have spewed his air at director E. Sattibabu, for the dismal show of the film in almost all the centers. Sources said the producer is not able to digest the inputs from the public galleries, pointing at the vulgarity, dialogues and poor music. This has surely kept Sridhar at bay, financially and image-wise (as a hit producer of Style and Evadi Gola Vadidhe). He is said to be planning of a different genre-film

Telugu movie Maisamma IPS, with Mumaith Khan in the title role, is being produced by K.Ramakrishna Prasad, under the banner of Sowbhagya Media Limited, and directed by Bharath Parepalli. The post production work is in full progress and the film is slated for release on November 23-Telugu Cinemass.

Shayaji Shinde and Pradeep Rawat play the negative roles. M.M.Srilekha composed the music. The audio of the film is released and said to have received good response. The story and screenplay have been written by Dasari Narayana Rao.
