A.KODANDARAMI REDDY’S “GODAVA” FOR SON VAIBHAV !
Telugu director A. Kodandarami Reddy - the man who brought Chiranjeevi into the limelight with the film “Khaidi” took up his home project “Godava”, starring his son Vaibhav (who is named so on the suggestion of Sobhan Babu). The film made on K. Films banner has completed the shooting and is planned to have its release next month Rerecording and dubbing works are going on. Music by Mani Sharma, the audio is likely to hit the stands before September 11th. Kodandarami Reddy’s wife Bharati is the producer and his son Sunil Reddy is the presenter. Paruchuri Brothers penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Godava, which has the caption – For Love. A press meet was held at FNCC, Hyderabad to brief about the movie progress.
Shradda Arya is the heroine. Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao hoped that her beauties (say Andalu) are going to be a big asset to the film. At the same time, he endorsed the muscles of the debut hero (seeing the flex at the venue) and said: “The muscles are enough to make him a potential hero.” Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said that Kodandarami Reddy did his best to introduce his son Vaibhav as the hero. The film has action, love, sentiment and comedy, he added.
NTR’S “KANTRI” FROM SEP 14th…
Tollywood actor Jr. NTR is all set to hit the hearts of Andhra audience once again. His recent film “Yamadonga” is a big hit and his next movie will be “Kantri”. NTR’s new film will be produced by Ashwini Dutt. Meher Ramesh, a disciple of Puri Jagannath will direct this film. The film will be launched formally on September 14th in Hyderabad.
Hansika Motwani of “Desamuduru” fame will act opposite NTR in the film. Jia Khan of Nishabdh fame is first decided as the second heroine but now Riya Sen’s name is being scanned for this role.
Kantri movie will be Meher Ramesh’s first telugu movie. Meher Ramesh remade NTR’s film “Andhrawala” as “Veera Kannadiga” in Kannada which was a super duper hit there-Telugu Cinemass.
DIRECTOR RAJA VANNEMREDDY’S NEW FILM…
The shooting of a film directed by Raja Vannemreddy and produced by Bekkem Venugopal on the banner of Lucky Media with Sivaji, Meera Jasmine and Sangeetha in the lead was formally launched with puja activities at a simple function on August 26.
Director says, ‘We are remaking a successful Tamil film “En Purushan Kolanda Madiri” in Telugu. This is an entertaining family subject with love story in its backdrop.’
Producer Bekkem Venugopal says, ‘We will launch the regular shooting from September 1. The first schedule would be at Palakole and its surrounding areas which would continue for about 20 days. The second schedule would begin from October 1 and it would continue till the end of the shooting. There are five songs in the film and Srilekha is scoring music.’
Lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar, camera is by Vasu, editing is by Nagireddy, art is by Mani while Soma Vijaya Prakash would be the presenter.

The posters of the film “Chirutha” are out and they look very classy and exciting. Also very interesting to note is that the lead pair of Ram Charan Teja and Neha look very urban and up market. But by the look of it the film seems to have the shades of Hrithik Roshan’s first flick “Kaho Naa Pyar hai”. Is this film a copy? Is it inspired by the Hrithik Roshan’s film? But it is earlier said that a German film is an inspiration for it. Let’s wait and watch the result-Telugu Cinemass.
No commentsA.R.MURUGADOSS TO DIRECT RAM CHARAN TEJA ?
Tamil director A R Murugadoss who directed blockbuster “Ghajini” and later “Stalin”Chiranjeevi is now currently making Hindi remake of Ghajini with Aamir Khan. Allu Aravind is producing the movie. Murugadoss is considered to be very close to Chiru family. Now, he is being roped in to direct a film with Ram Charan Teja.
According to Telugu Cinemass sources, soon after Ghajini (Hindi version), he might take up this project. Rajamouli will be directing Charan Teja’s second film for Geeta Arts which will begin shortly.
Chirutha in Oct 1st week:
Meanwhile, sources indicate that Chirutha might be postponed to October 1st week. By now it is clear that it might not release on Pranam Khareedu’s date (September 22nd). Though there are chances of it making at the end of the month.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, the doted father that he is, wants to personally oversee the publicity plan. That is why no promo or trailer of the film has been released even though the audio has already hit the market 10 days ago.
Normally trailers should have been in circulation. Chiranjeevi wants his son’s maiden movie should be very grand and smooth. So he is taking extra care and planning it correctly. Remember it is Chiru who gave inputs for the posters that are now talk of the industry. Especially the logo designed by Dhani Aeley is being appreciated by everyone.

Telugu hero Sumanth is now dating a new girl from Mumbai. He was going steady with Kamalini Mukherjee for quire some time- some say ever since they came tighter in the film “Godavari”. Now they are no longer seeing each other.
Kamalini has busied herself with new assignments and Sumanth has now latched onto a new girl. He is reportedly spending a lot of time with her. Her identify is still under wraps. All that is known I that she is into modeling and hails from Mumbai-Telugu Cinemass.
RAM CHARAN TEJA’S SECOND FILM FROM NOVEMBER…
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja is making debut with “Chirutha”. The film is in the final stages of shooting. Even as the film under the shooting, work for his second film is going on. Fresh from the success of “Yamadonga”, star director Rajamouli is currently holding ‘script sessions’ to come up with an interesting storyline for Ram Charan Teja. The film is to be produced by Allu Aravind under the Geeta Arts banner. It will begin shooting from November. A new heroine will be introduced opposite Charan Teja. Keeravani is composing the music-Telugu Cinemass.

Nava Vasantham Release In October
Tollywood movie “Nava Vasantham”, starring Tarun in the lead with Akash & Rohit
costarring, Telugu Cinemass learnt that it is going to release next month. Shajahan directs the film on Mega Supergood Films banner and music is by Rajkumar. “Entire shoot is completed and currently postproduction works are being launched,” the unit members said. Tarun hopes to break the stalemate in his career with this film.
ACTRESS GOPIKA IS GOING BOLD !
This is to be underlined that Gopika is going bold with the concern for competition. All these days she has been conservative with respect to costumes and never clad anything more than a sari or a chudidar to the maximum. There appears to be more than that meets the eye in the sudden postponement of the release of the film “Hello Premistara”. According to the Telugu Cinemass sources, the story of this film originally belonged to R.Tulasi Kumar, the director of Vihari. Puri Jagannath, the producer of the film, and Raj Kumar, director of the film, are said to be truly unaware of this aspect until recently. Apprehending legal repercussions, some scenes of “Hello Premistara” are believed to have been scrapped and re-shooting ordered, so as to avoid copyright capers.
BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS RIYA SEN IN “KANTRI” ?
Actress Riya Sen is well-known for very glam roles in Bollywood. This beauty from Kolkata (she’s daughter of erstwhile Bengali Beauty Queeen Moon Moon Sen) is all set to star opposite NTR in his next film titled “Kantri”.
According to Telugu Cinemass sources, she is penciled in to do the second lead which was originally offered to Zia Khan (of Nishabd fame). Now, Ria Sen is finalized for this role. Hansika Motwani is the main heroine.
The film produced by C Ashwinidutt will be launched on September 14th. With stupendous success of “Yamadonga”, Kantri carries a great craze. Meher Ramesh is making his Telugu debut as director. He earlier assisted Puri Jagannadh and later directed two Kannada films - Ajay and Veera Kannadiga (remakes of Okkadu and Andhrawala respectively).

VISHNU TO DO NTR’S “YUGANDHAR” REMAKE ?
Latest buzz from Telugu Cinemass sources is that late NT Rama Rao’s blockbuster “Yugandhar” (remake of Amitabh’s Don) is seriously being considered for a remake. Hero Vishnu is said to be donning the role. Currently, he is busy with P.Vasu’s film. Also Nagarjuna is keen on “Patala Bhairavi”. Similarly, Nagarjuna further suggested “Gundamma Katha”. If this happens, its going to be a big time for remakes.And even remake of remakes!
