3 commentsHERO VENKATESH AS “TULASIRAM” !
It’s not going to be “Tulasi”. According to Telugu Cinemass sources, “Tulasiram” is the title almost finalized for Venkatesh’s current film produced by D Suresh Babu. The rights over the title “Tulasi” are with another producer. Only if the said producer hands over the title to Suresh Babu, they can have title. For safe side, Suresh Productions has registered a title on the name of Tulasi Ram.
In two days, it will be finalized whether it would “Tulasi” or “Tulasiram”. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinivas. It has finished major shooting and the audio is expected to be released next week.
It is scheduled for October 18th release. The film is set against Rayalaseema backdrop. Venkatesh plays a youth hailing from a factionist family. Nayanatara does the role of his wife. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.
It is an action entertainer. The film is one of the hottest films coming this Dussera season.
1 commentVikram AS Mallanna
Kollywood hero Vikram became an instant hit with the Telugu audience with his film “Aparichithudu”. His eagerly awaited movie “Bheema” got entangled in legal hassles and has not been released.
Now, Vikram is acting in a bilingual film titled “Mallanna” in Telugu and “Kandaswamy” in Tamil. Both the versions will be canned simultaneously. Shriya is the leading lady. This film is being produced by Kalaipuli Thanu and directed by Susi Ganeshan-Telugu Cinemass.
BALAKRISHNA’S “RANGA PANDURANGA” TO BE LAUNCHED ON SEPT 15th…
It is reliably learnt that the shooting of “Ranga Panduranga” directed and produced by K Raghavendra Rao on the banner of RK Associates, with Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna as hero, Sneha, Priyamani, Parvathi Melton and Archana as heroines, would be launched on September 15, the Vinayaka Chaturthi day.
It may be mentioned here that the film is being made with an inspiration from the late NTR’s all-time classic “Panduranga Mahatmyam”.
While JK Bharavi penned the script, MM Keeravani is providing melodious tunes for the flick.
It is worth mentioning here that two songs in ‘Panduranga Mahatmyam’ namely ‘Jaya Krishna Mukunda Murari’ and ‘Amma Ani Pilichinaa Aalakinchavemamma’ would remain alive as long as there are Telugu films.
There is no need for the particular mention about NTR’s performance and the directorial abilities of the movie.
Scoring music on par with that film is definitely a Herculean task for Keeravani and the same comment could be attributed to Balakrishna and the director.
One had to wait and watch till the completion of the shooting, post-production and release of the film to give a judgment on this latest flick.
1 commentRAM CHARAN TEJA’S “CHIRUTHA” POSTPONED ?
The release of Ram Charan Tej’s debut film “Chirutha” has been postponed once again. The film is now likely to hit the screen on October 1.
The reason for this is not exactly known, but gossip from film nagar that Telugu Cinemass got to know says that Chiranjeevi is not completely satisfied with the film. Some scenes have been re-shot. Chiranjeeevi is also reportedly keen to look after the publicity for the film personally.
So he is not expected for some more days, the film has been postponed. The trailers are ready but Chiru has to okay them before they can be released.
