ANUSHKA TO PAIR WITH HERO RAVITEJA…
Telugu producer Dr Ramanaidu is planning a film with hero Raviteja . Udayshankar will direct the film. Anushka is considered to play the female lead in the film.The shooting will begin in the month of December-Telugu Cinemass.

Telugu director S.S.Rajamouli is very happy with the success of his latest film “Yamadonga” with NTR and Mohan Babu. The director is all gung ho about his future projects. He says that he will not only make mythological films, but also experiment with historical and folklore.
The latest technology coupled with the everlasting charm of mythological movies gives him a chance to take extra interest in them. Will this mean a revival of mythological films in Telugu. It has been a long time since the days of NTR’s DVSK and other such films.
BRAHMINI & LOKESH GOT MARRIED…
The most-anticipated marriage of Brahmini and Lokesh was performed with all grandeur amidst the family members and relatives of both sides at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad, today morning, considered one of the rarest muhurtams said to coming once in sixty years. Prominent film personalities who arrived at the secured zone were Superstar Rajnikanth, Nagarjuna, K. Raghavendra Rao, ANR, Adiseshagiri Rao, B. Gopal, Jayasudha, Krishnamraj, former heroine Roja, Paruchuri Brothers and Amibika Krishna. Telugu Cinemass wishes the couple a HAPPY MARRIED LIFE.
As the Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy is engaged to hectic schedules in view of bomb blasts in the city, he deputed Speaker Suresh Reddy as his special envoy to bless the couple. Family heads Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri Balakrishna received the guests personally and guided to the kalyana mandapam with imposing backdrop of late NTR and Basasvatarakam portraits.
Brahmani’s special pujas:
Earlier, entourage of ravishing bride Brahmini started from NBK residence at Jubilee Hills. It reached on the actor’s personal BMW car, which was richly decorated with flowers and garlands. Union minister and NBK’s sister Purandareswari took the lead in guiding the bride’s arrival at HICC. At an earmarked suit, Brahmini performed special puja to the portraits of Lord Venakteswara and Lord Vinayaka.
While the bride was busy doing the puja, the groom’s side Chandrababu Naidu, Bhuvaneshwari and Lokesh arrived at the venue on a specially arranged olive-green Car of Nizam period model. Balayya put the garlands of camphor and flowers on Chandrababu and Lokesh, while Vasundara garlanded Bhuvaneswari.
Later, a select group of 27 purohits from Tirupati and Annavaram were called in to perform the marriage. Amidst profuse vedic chants, Lokesh tied the blissful knot on Brahmani.
Chandrababu’s relatives arrived at the HICC in Hitech Buses from Naravaripalle in Chittoor district. An estimated gathering of about 1000 dropped into the venue. Chandrababu limited the number of guests to a staggering figure, but NBK invited almost all the bigwigs in the film industry.
In view of the red alert in city, heavy bandobasth was put up at the venue with additional force.

Tollywood hero Yuvaratna Balakrishna is all set to perform the marriage of his eldest daughter Brahmini with Lokesh, son of ex-chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, tomorrow on 26th August 2007 at 8.34 am at Hi-tex Hyderabad.
The wedding card has Sr. NTR photograph on it which became a special attraction to it. Balakrishna is inviting almost the whole of Telugu film industry and is celebrating his daughter’s marriage grandly. He is also arranging a reception for his fans at Nimmakuru
Nandamuri Balakrishna has taken off from the shooting schedule of “Okkamagadu” movie two days back and will join back for shooting in September after he completes his daughter’s marriage in grand way. Megastar Chiranjeevi who is holidaying in either America or England will take a break in his holiday and attend the marriage tomorrow and will fly back to join his family.
(his native) on 29th August. Nearly 30,000 fans are expected to attend the reception.

NAGARJUNA & VISHNU FILM LAUNCHED…
Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures production number 48 starring Nagarjuna,Vishnu was launched. ANR sounded the clap, D Rama Naidu switched on the camera and K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. Ali, B Gopal, Rajamouli, Seenu Vytla, Paruchuri brothers, Gemini Kiran, Bellamkonda Suresh, editor Gowtham Raju and others graced the occasion.
Rohini Sahani is casted opposite Vishnu in this Comedy oriented familydrama. P.Vasu directs this film , MM Keeravani is the music director-Telugu cinemass.
HERO PRABHAS’S MOVIE “BUJJIGADU MADE IN CHENNAI” LAUNCHED…
Telugu actor Prabhas’s new flick “Bujjigadu Made in Chennai” , in the direction of Puri Jagannadh , was launched on August 24th at Vaishno Academy Office. NRI Doctor Kothapalli Srinivasa Rao sounded the clap, Krishnam Raju switched on the camera and K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot.
Trisha & Sanjana will play the female leads. Devisri Prasad composes the music.This film is slated for Sanrkanthi release-Telugu Cinemass.

BOLLYWOOD MOVIE “APNE” TO REMADE IN TELUGU…
It is now being said that the movie “Apne” is being made in Telugu also. The story of the movie revolves round a Boxer trying to regain lost glory through his sons. The story is an emotional saga of the bonding between the two sons and their father. The Hindi version of this film was made with Anil Sharma as the director. Dharmendra and his two sons Sunny & Bobby play the characters. Now the same film is planning to be made with Mohan Babu and his two sons Vishnu & Manoj in the lead. Mohan Babu by doing this film has a family saga in hand.
MS RAJU TO DIRECT DEVI SRI PRASAD IN “VANA” ?
There were rumors in the film nagar that Devi Sree Prasad will make acting debut very soon. To make the rumors true, MS Raju who is planning to direct “Vana” is likely to rope Devi Sree as hero for debut directorial venture. It is the remake of Kannada film. As for reliable sources, M S Raju will direct Devi Sree and shoot will commence on 10th of August in Mysore.
Himesh Reshammiya Coming to Tollywood
Bollywood music director, singer & actor Himesh Reshammiya is one of the most-talked about singer in recent times. Many people say that he sings with a nasal twang and his fans claim that it is this quality, which makes his songs stand out. Whatever the merits or otherwise of this argument, Himesh is going great guns. His recent film was a modest hit but he is getting offers to sing from South Indian films.
The latest news is that actor Mohan Babu has signed him up to sing a song for his new film starring Vishnu in the lead. Himesh is also likely to sing for a Telugu film to be directed by Bharathiraja.

So Akkineni family will soon see its next director in Akkineni Nageshwar Rao’s elder son Venkat Akkineni picking up the mantle. Venkat Akkineni in all likelihood directs this movie which would have Jagapathi Babu as the hero. With years spent in the film fraternity and loads of experience all feel that Venkat will do an excellent job. Venkat and Jagapathi Babu are very good friends and it is said that their friendship and camaraderie will be there for all to see in this movie. The film also has inputs from Nagarjuna if all grapevine is to be believed.
